A nice copy of the first edition, first printing of the first Hoke Moseley dectective novel. Text is tight and clean. Appears unread or barely so. Lettering to spine is bright and unflaked. In a Fine bright dust jacket (in mylar) w/a couple of tiny flecks and light wear to spine ends and corners (as is the case in nearly every one of these cheaply made dust jackets by St. Martin's Press during this time period). No spine fade. No previous owners' names. No Remainder Mark or spray. Not Price Clipped. Not ex-lib. Not a Book Club Edition. This is a nice copy at a very good price. Compare and see.
