About this Item

This book is from the series - "Murray's Fiction Liibrary". There is no date on the title page, with the copyright page stating: "First Issue Of This Edition - March 1923". This edition is not illustrated. Bound in clean, medium blue boards, with a gilt lettered spine. The covers and the spine are perfectly attached, with both the spine and the covers having very good, unworn and unbumped edges. The back inner hinge is cracked, and there are no endpapers (if it came with endpapers). 2 pages have some small brown stains. Else, 406 very clean, crisp and tightly bound pages. The pages are yellowed. The top 1/4 inch of the dust wrapper's spine and the top left 1-1/4 inches by 1/4 inch of the front panel's edge are missing. Some small chipping to the lower end of the spine and to the corners. The dust wrapper's spine is darkened. The colorfully illustrated front panel is worded: "A moving romance of the Monmouth Rising - of stirring gallantry and of proved appeal". There is a 2 shilling price on the spine and on the front panel. Bookseller Inventory # 13400
