About this Item

A big hefty book on a newly found Renaissance marble statue "believed to be Michelangelo's long lost Youthful St. John the Baptist" which was thought at the time of publication to possibly be one of the greatest art discoveries of the century. Regardless, this is a beautiful book with exhaustive study of a beautiful marble statue of San Giovannino. DJ is price-clipped and has a tear a top of spine and continuing onto the front and back. It is now protected by Mylar covering. The book itself has a name (or something) whited-out on front endpaper. Bookseller Inventory # 100329
