4to, pp. 61, [3], with a half-title; paper slightly age-toned but a very good copy, untrimmed and partly unopened, in the original printed paper wrappers.First and only edition of this collection of thirty-two poems, inscribed on the half-title 'para Elsa y Luís Aragón mi olvidado corazon a la intemperie, recordandolos con cariño fervoroso / Lila'. The Argentinian poet Lila Guerrero was a committed Russophile, and is perhaps best known as an editor and translator of Mayakovsky and Gorky. Aragón's publishing house EFR issued works by Mayakovsky and others, and his wife Elsa Triolet was the sister of Mayakovsky's love Lilya Brik, but his own fervent Communist beliefs were by the 60s beginning to waver in the face of Soviet show trials against intellectuals.
