Beautiful copy. May be first edition; six titles listed on rear jacket flap, no other printings given. Maroon closth with black silhouette decoration. The only real flaws to jacket is a one inch closed tear to front panel, and a skinned chip at head of spine about a quarter by half inch----- color is missing but paper is still present. Book Description The Reilly & Lee Co., Chicago, 1929. Pictorial Hard Cover. Condition: Good. William Donahey (illustrator). Black letters and an illustration on red cloth. 327 pages; b/w illustrations and illuminated initials. Boards' front corners are a little threadbare. Ends of spine strip are softened. About a fourth of the back board has water stain. The text block ends have darkened; the bottom, front corner of the text block has water stain; the bottom end has a 1/4 in. and a linear 1 in. stain. About a ninth of the pages have stains, mostly on the margins. The endpapers are split over the hinges; the hinges remain tight. The back FEP has a 1 in. chip. Scans e-mailed upon request.
