In this Boring and Holway, discussing their experiments and findings with regard to the perceived size of the moon at the horizon versus other heights in the sky. This includes a look at the factor of posture, presenting a scientific look at their findings. Edwin Boring was an American experimental psychologist, involved with intelligence testing during World War I, as well as optical illusion research. This resulted in the 'Boring Figure' as well as noted research in the appearance of the moon (see Wikipedia). GOOD+ condition. Uneven fading and toning to the wraps. Light curling at the corners.
