About this title

Synopsis:

The thrilling prequel to "Redwall". The clever and greedy wildcat Tsarmina becomes ruler of all Mossflower Woods and is determined to govern the peaceful woodlanders with an iron paw. The brave mouse Martin and quick-talking mouse thief Gonff meet in the depths of Kotir Castle's dungeon. The two escape and resolve to end Tsarmina's tyrannical rule. Joined by Kinny the mole, Martin and Gonff set off on a dangerous quest for Salamandastron, where they are convinced that their only hope, Boar the Fighter, still lives.

Review:

Brian Jacques's superb Redwall series truly captures the finest in storytelling tradition and combines it with the ultimate in upbeat, catch-your-breath adventure. Mossflower tells the story of Martin the Warrior, who finds himself trespassing on the land of Verdagua, King of a Thousand Eyes, as he lies sick and near dying. With his last strength, Verdagua is struggling to make a decision on who should replace him as ruler of Mossflower Country. As Martin and his newfound friend and fellow prisoner Gonff become embroiled in the battle against Verdagua's ruthless daughter, Tsarmina, a bloody fight between good and evil ensues.

Stunning landscapes, brilliant characterization, masterly plots, and a wicked sense of humor unite in this epic tale of derring-do and the triumph of good over evil, making it one of the most addictive and memorable books that anyone is ever likely to read. --Susan Harrison

Terms of Sale:

Private merchant account, no taxes on sales and a standard shipping fee in accordance to rates.

Shipping Terms:

U.S. Shipping:
We ship our books according to media rate through the US Postal Services. This is the cheapest way for us to ship you your books. We will contact you if shipping will cost more than the listed price. Please note that heavier and larger-sized books will cost more to ship as the general shipping cost is used for average-weight/sized books. If you would like your book insured, specifically packed or delivered faster it will cost more and you will need to contact us.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.

International Shipping:
As a standard for shipping, we ship all our books in a Global Priority Flat Rate mailer envelope. This costs just a couple bucks more than ground and will get there in 4 to 10 business days instead of the one to two months it would for Ground. Priority in a box costs a bit more (about 17.50,) but has that added bit of protection. We're more than happy to ship Ground for $9.00 or Express for $30.00. Let us know what you prefer if the option isn't listed.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.
