Hardcover 2nd printing 2 books in one. Illustrations by Vera Stone The dark blue cover has a paper paste down color picture of vegetable and fruit children dancing, the title is in brown; the spine has the title in black. The corners and spine ends have bumped and shelf worn, otherwise pretty clean. The endpapers have aged and have pretty much the same picture as the front but in blue line drawing; there is a former owners name. The half title page has a colored picture of veg. children, the hinge has a crack at the bottom and top, but is holding. The frontispiece is of a young girl reading a book; the title page has a picture of a girl on a ladder looking at veg. growing. There are 42 color and black and white drawing. The interior is bright and for the most part clean, there are a few finger prints and smudges. 222pp total Size: 6 x 8. Bookseller Inventory #
