About this Item

"The Classic Volland Edition" 1971 reprint of the 1915 original, 10th printing illustrated by Frderick Richardson. 160 pages in poor condition: covers severely rubbed on boards, edges and corners. Interior is poor, ffep is missing, the first 13 pages, including the forward, introduction, title and copyright pages are torn, bent and creased, with some water damage. All of the full-page illustrations have escaped this fate and there are no ownership marks, so feasible for reading. The pictures are very attractive. Bookseller Inventory # 001407

I am a packrat and aficionado of fine and serviceable used items in the belief that it is time to slow down production and slow down our lives in order to appreciate and share that which already exists.
