Nine (of thirteen) volumes. 4to. Publisher's vibrantly colour illustrated boards, three volumes with the somewhat worn original glassine wrappers. Profusely illustrated in colour and black and white. Some general edge wear to each volume, the spine of volume 9 with loss to the head, else very good. The first nine volumes of a periodical that ran for thirteen issues between 1958 and 1967. The series provides a wonderful record of the art fashions of the period particularly attuned to its typographers and graphic designers. The magazine was edited by MacLean throughout and it featured an impressive roll call of contributing writers and featured artists including Ardizzone, Bawden and Paolozzi to name but a few.
