About this Item

Light blue half-cloth boards with biege spine are bright with just light wear on the bottom edge. There is a Little-Brown colophon in the center of the front cover and titles in green on the spine. Spine and hinges firm and straight. Pages unmarked except for a lightly pencilled price on the ffep. This copy is the second printing: the copyright page states "Published February 1955 / Reprinted February 1955". The colourful price-clipped dust jacket (now in mylar) is bright and whole showing light chipping, edge wear, and wrinkling. Wibberley's very funny cold-war satire was the basis for the equally amusing 1959 film starring Peter Sellers (in 3 roles). Size: 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 001457
