An original etching by John Crome (1768-1821). S.d., circa 1830s. This is State IV, without the rising cloud (Theobald 3). Image measures 8.75 x 12.25 inches. Matted, with one small scuff to matte. Image is in excellent condition with some very light marginal browning. Crome was one of the principal artists of the Norwich School movement. This etching is a very nice example.
