The magazine was a British weekly humour and satire publication that began in the 1840s. The book mirrors of mood of the British month by month throughout the war. This copy was owned by Arch Whitehouse, a WWI RAF veteran. Whitehouse is most known as a WWI aviation historian. Good copy of the first edition. The spine s gilded lettering and image is almost fully faded and the the front hinge is starting. 304 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 38603
