About the Book

Bibliographic Details

Title: Mugshots -- Description of Prisoner Taken in...

Publication Date: 1904

Binding: Ephemera

Book Condition: Near Fine

Double-sided, with photographs and handwritten descriptions. Two prisoners per leaf, one on each side: Fletcher W. Spencer (arrested for grand larceny, then "dismissed and money given him to go east to Chicago"), and Lucian Driskall (arrested for embezzlement of "$3.50 from Jas. Perris"). It is interesting to note that Driskall is sentenced to 10 days in jail, while the Chicago-bound Spencer is described as having "stole wheen from Miss Mabel Marr of Agnews; defrauded Mat. Glennon of Agnews; beat H. H. Miller of Bristol Hotel out of board bill." A little wrinkled along the edges, else fine. Bookseller Inventory # D3815
