The books measure 5.5" x 8.5". Bound in publisher's original green buckram with gilt titling and decorations on the spine. Top edge gilt. Reproduction of author's signature embossed on the front cover. With black-and-white engravings by Robert Graves and J. C. Armytage. The books are in very good condition. Minor shelf wear to the boards and spine, with soiling to the covers. Faint foxing to the rear endsheet of Volume 2. The textblocks are clean, bright, unmarked, and complete. The binding is sound.
