About the Book

We're sorry; this specific copy is no longer available. Here are our closest matches for The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus.

Description:

A very nice copy of this collection of Camus essays with the usual Easton amenties - Raised bands, A.E.G., silk endpapers, full leather, and ribbon. Looks to be unread, however, the former owner used the bookplate, insanely supplied by Easton press, and affixed it to the endpaper. I pulled this bookplate off with no trouble, but a light discoloration remains on silk endpaper. Otherwise like new and never read. Bookseller Inventory #

Book Description Penguin Books Ltd, United Kingdom, 2005. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English. Brand new Book. Throughout history, some books have changed the world. They have transformed the way we see ourselves - and each other. They have inspired debate, dissent, war and revolution. They have enlightened, outraged, provoked and comforted. They have enriched lives - and destroyed them. Now Penguin brings you the works of the great thinkers, pioneers, radicals and visionaries whose ideas shook civilization and helped make us who we are. Inspired by the myth of a man condemned to ceaselessly push a rock up a mountain and watch it roll back to the valley below, The Myth of Sisyphus transformed twentieth-century philosophy with its impassioned argument for the value of life in a world without religious meaning.
