Copy of the First Edition title page included (1669). About the Author: Nathaniel Morton 1613-85 Nathaniel came to Plymouth with father and family in 1623 (on the Anne at age 10. In 1624 his father George Morton died, NM was taken into family of Gov. Bradford who had just become his Uncle by marriage to NM's Aunt Alice Southworth. NM was highly respected man in the Colony.
