Third printing of the June 1943 first edition. Unpaged. Hardcover: H 19.5cm x L 14.25cm. Dust jacket well toned and soiled, 2cm loss at spine heel with shallower chipping at head and to adjacent right corner of rear corner, flap folds scuffed with slight chipping at ends, slender moisture stain at rear flap fold with stray ink mark to rear panel, nicks and short tears along panel edges; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Pictorial front and rear boards retain bright color as both feature the same illustration as the dj's front panel, scuffing at bottom board edges and at spine ends with short tear to bumped heel. Past owner's ink signature on front free endpaper but interior pages are otherwise quite clean. Original pocket affixed to rear pastedown but without any inserted war savings stamps.
