J�rgen F. Studt untersucht qualitativ und quantitativ, ob und inwieweit ein Change-Management-Ansatz organisationstheoretisch unterlegt werden kann und wie sich die Nachhaltigkeit eines Ansatzes in der PMI – und �ber diese hinaus – erreichen l�sst. Als Fallstudie dient die �bernahme von Veba Oel und Aral durch BP, die er in der Leitung des Integrationsteams begleitete. Er zeigt, dass Mitarbeiter von Unternehmen, die vor der Fusion das Hauptaugenmerk auf die Marke und die Marktf�hrerschaft legen, durch die PMI zu einer mehr Performance-orientierten Sichtweise gelangen. Auch die Konzentration auf die Entwicklung einer gemeinsamen Personalpolitik und ein offenes, transparentes und partizipatives F�hrungsverhalten haben eine nachhaltige Wirkung. Die Konzentration auf die Mitarbeiter in der PMI, d.h. die Art und Weise, wie mit den Verunsicherungen, �ngsten und Widerst�nden umgegangen wird, ist eine der Grundvoraussetzungen f�r ein Gelingen der PMI und von Nachhaltigkeit.
