About this title

Synopsis:

A Fictional Novel abour a young girl who has lost her mother to violence and her father to grief. Jenny's father, Jordan Krautskreimer, although a billionaire, immerses himself in work in an effort to assuage his grief over the loss of his beautiful wife, Malinda. While Jordan is in Berlin on business, he receives word that Jennay has been kidnapped but before he can get home to pay the ransom, he is killed in a plane crash. The kidnappers read in the news-paper that there is no one authorized to pay the ransom so they abandon Jennay in a strange city in another state. For the next ten years she must depend on strangers for her very life. Will the Krautskreimer heiress ever be found? Meanwhile, the poor little orphan tells everyone who will listen, "My name is Jennay."

About the Author:

Doris grew up in the small town of Glen Dean, KY but has called Cloverport, KY her home since 1970, having lived in Breckinridge County almost her entire life. She has three children and two step-children, all five most beloved. Doris & Don live on a few acres on the banks of Tar Creek. Doris has always loved telling stories but it was in 2003 that, with her husband's encouragement, her first novel was published. In the intervening eight years eleven more novels and one biography have followed. The story of "Little Jim & Annie Mae," her parents, is a work dedicated to all those who struggled to raise a family on almost nothing. Jim & Annie's adhererence to the golden rule, decency and honesty has been an inspiration to the author and many others. Doris loves writing and her fondest hope is that others will enjoy her efforts.
