About this Item

240 pages; appendix; full leather binding (3 3/4 x 5 7/8 inch). This is an account of a 14 member Quaker family taken during the Revolutionary War from Pennsylvania 200 miles north to near Niagara and held for 2 years. All survived and were rescued, save Benjamin Sr. It gives a good account of the Iroquois during this time and the trials and tribulations of the family during captivity. Very good clean copy.
