in-8, cartonnage papier gris souris, pièce de titre papier blanc (cartonnage postérieur), 2 f.n.ch (faux-titre et titre) et 215 pp. Première édition en anglais, publiée l'année de l'originale française par le même éditeur. Récit de première main de la déportation à Sinnamary des conjurés du 18 Fructidor. Ramel parvint à s'échapper avec quelques condamnés en juin 1798 et gagna Londres où il fit paraître cet opuscule en 1799, en français puis en anglais, avant d'être rappelé par Napoléon. Les deux premiers feuillets (faux-titre et titre) ont été remontés et les quelques feuillets suivants portent une trace de mouillure. Sinon exemplaire de bonne tenue dans son cartonnage moderne. Peu courant.
