First edition, undated [ca 1890]. Charming and scarce color illustrated book in very good condition in a quite worn and chipped dustjacket. Stiff softcover, oblong format 4" x 5", with stitched binding, edges tinted yellow, 20 pages, color illustrations on most pages, tan dustjacket printed in light blue. The book has light edgewear, top 3/4 inch of spine separated but binding is very sound, pages clean with some age-toning to the outer inch of the inner covers, the title page and final page (neither in color), corresponding to the dustjacket flaps, old gift notation lightly written at top edge of front inner cover, pages otherwise unmarked. The mylar protected dustjacket has numerous chips and closed tears but the front panel design is pretty much intact if reparied, some spotting, rear flap detached but present. First Edition.
