Although small, these subgroupsdemonstrated significant differences on everycognitive and behavioral measure. This offers newdirections for future research using subtypes whichmay be more revealing and explain earlierinconsistent findings. This research is of interestto educational and scientific researchers who areinvestigating cognitive, behavioral and/oranatomical correlates of dyslexia.

Janet N. Zadina, Ph.D completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cognitive neuroscience at Tulane University studying neurodevelopmental language disorders. She is currently an adjunct Assistant Professor at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
