About this title

Synopsis:

Photo essay covering Atlanta Falcons photographer Jimmy Cribb's illustrious career. First I ll tell you what this book is not. It s not a book of great sports photography. It s not a book telling you step by step how to take great sports photos. But I do believe there are certain qualities a great sports photo needs. It needs to be a sharp image. It needs to be peak action, faces showing if possible, and it needs to have really, really good lighting. In this book, I won t tell you a lie, but I will tell you a story. The good tales are all here.

About the Author:

Jimmy Cribb has worked as the Atlanta Falcons' team photographer since 1980, capturing action from the sidelines, in practice, and in the community. He has worked in every NFL stadium and in Tokyo and London. He has covered 16 consecutive Super Bowls, University of Georgia football, NASCAR and drag racing, the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Hawks. George Henry covered his first Falcons game in 1986, a loss to the Chicago Bears. He has worked for several newspapers as a sports editor, columnist and beat writer. He has been on staff with The Associated Press since 2000.
