Contents include patriotic songs such as The Star-Spangled Banner; Hail Columbia; America, Commerce, and Freedom; and America--The Anchor and Hope of the World; as well as William Reily's Courtship, Reily's Trial, and Reily's Answer, Releasement, and Marriage with Coolen Bawn; and a local song, Philadelphia Fireman's Song, set to the tune of The Poachers. A very scarce ante-bellum American songbook. In Very Good Condition: edges rubbed; small stain on front board; pages are browning, with occasional light foxing; otherwise clean and tight.
