About this Item

A good old hardback religious witness book published by the author. It is worn on the edges (extremities for those of you with bookish vocabularies). Clean and tight. Small ink?dot on spine and gold embossed "The New Day" with the sun peaking through the woods. I suspect it was fairly cheaply bound bound as produced. The Author was a "Lumber Jack Evangelist" and involved in Logging Camp Mission Work. He is a self proclaimed evangelist not an author and writes in first person singular with his own true stories. Whew. A startling picture of him in the front. He also wrote "The Last Drink in the Vestibule of Hell" and "He Made the Couplin" (RR I hope). A true American work as only here did such strong ferver appear that nearly makes early puritan philosophy look weak. Appears to be the Minnesota woods and Minneapolis. 240 pages. Previous owner's name stamped on first fly. Bookseller Inventory # 8617
