Binding: Green publisher's cloth with gilt lettering and Ticknor & Fields' device on spine, covers double-ruled in blind, front cover with publication information framed in center. Pendants in the device are filled in. 16mo (17.9 cm; 7.125"). 179, [1] pp. BAL 12150. Bound as above; gently rubbed, a small amount of soiling, text cocked, front hinge tender, back hinge cracked. Pages gently age-toned but clean. Ex?social club library with rubber-stamps on title page and one leaf of text, call number written on label on front endpaper and spine in a 19th-century hand, front endpaper also with cloth tape over signature.
