Illustrations include a view on San Juan River, Fort San Carlos, the ship Columbus on the lake, Playa of Granada, a view of the volcano of Mombacho from the south, the crater, a view of Crater Lake, a hacienda near Granada and a view of Lake Nicaragua, Indigo works, Lake of Masaya, Lave-field from the volcano of Masaya, various examples of artifacts, the great plain of Leon, Cathedral of Leon, Calla Real at Leon, bridge at Leon, a procession during Holy-Week, the entrance to the Port of Realejo, several examples of idols, the landing at Realejo, and El Puerto de Zempisque.
