About the Author:

Marc Pratarelli is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Colorado State University-Pueblo where he teaches Human Evolutionary Psychology, cognitive neuroscience and experimental methods. He studied at the University of California and received a doctorate from the University of Southern California. He has conducted research at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, the House Ear Institute, and the Naval Health Research Center. He lives, hikes, and sails in Colorado with his two Alaskan Malamutes and his 32 year-old parrot, Paco.
