A group of four items surrounding an art exhibit that was conceived and designed by Robert Wilson to highlight jewelry creations by Van Cleef & Arpels. This involved an art installation at a venue in New York's trendy Chelsea art district - Cedar Lake - that was shown from November 3-19, 2017. First there is the catalogue that accompanied the exhibit. It measures 8.5" x 11.25" with 36 pages. Profusely illustrated in color with close-up photographs of the jewelry items depicting animals - the theme of the collection and the art installation, plus art work that inspired the collection, and how the jewelry was actually created, as well as the concept and creation behind the art installation. A smaller promotional booklet that is a shorter and abbreviated version of the main catalog is the second item. (A stapled booklet that measures 5.75" x 8.25" with 12 pages.) The third item is canvas tote bag with the same graphic as on the cover of the catalog that was intended to carry the catalog. (Measures approx. 14" x 15".) Finally, the last piece in this collection is a special newspaper section on 'Jewelry' published by "The New York Times" on December 1, 2017 that includes an article (the lead story) on this art installation as well as other articles on luxury jewelry of other creators.
