This is a letter addressed to James Gordon Bennett, the anti-slavery owner of the New York Herald which he apparently allowed to run in the newspaper. It has very pro-Southern content which including a section "Mormonism, Spiritualism and Fourierism unknown in the Slave States". #. Bookseller Inventory # 15424
