Her books include the highly acclaimed George Eliot, Elizabeth Gaskell: A Habit of Stories, and, most recently, Hogarth: A Life and a World. She lives in England. Maggy Hendry is a freelance editor and writer. Her interests include women's history as well as African history and literature. She lives in England.
