A tight and attractive first edition of "Heartman's Historical Series Number 31." Lengthy subtitles notes, "Volume I Containing the History of Newspapers in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona" plus 28 more states -- and no subsequent volumes were ever published. Limited to 105 numbered copies (this #63). Heartman (1883-1953) was one of the great antiquarian booksellers and books-about-books publishers of the first half of the 20th century.
