About this Item

Quarto. A copy of the magazine for men that has Elvis' article defending rock-n-roll. In the Magazine's inaugural issue, there was an article exposing rock-n-roll as a wild music aimed at sex. Colonel Parker offered the magazine as rebuttal article by Elvis. Even the article was ghost written for Elvis. There is inside information such as later appears in Last Train to Memphis that shows this is what Elvis wanted people to know. C11-6 written along upper edge of front wrap. Near fine.
