Issued as five loose folio sheets housed within cinnamon-colored paper wrappers. Black title label printed in gold on spine. ([20] pages), color illustrations ; 32 cm. In verse. Issued in clamshell case covered with rust-colored cloth and a black leather label with title and author's name lettered in gold on spine. One of an edition of fifteen copies. Set in Dante and printed on Fabriano Tiepolo paper. Written and illustrated by Sarah Plimpton. Plates made and proofed by the artist at the Manhattan Graphics Center. Printed by Brad Ewing at the Grenfell Press. Aquatints editioned by Peter Pettengill in Hinsdale, New Hampshire. Clamshell case made by Claudia Cohen. Sarah Plimpton is a poet and artist working in several media, including oil painting, printmaking, and artists' books.
