'New edition'. Actual edition and printing not known. In quite good decorated brown cloth boards, with gilt titles to front with black decorated field beneath with subtitle. The boards have collapsed hollow and therefore a little loose; spine ends and corners bumped and frayed. Fairly clean end papers featuring titles from the publisher's catalogue; prize plate on front free end paper. Age-toned cut edges. The text block is quite firm and straight; webbing showing on first page of dictionary. The pages have some small marks but are not tanned or foxed. Good condition. Clevedon Community Bookshop, co-operatively owned, opened on 31 December 2011 and now has a general stock of approximately 20,000 books. Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day, seven days a week, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town. Shipping Terms:

We pack our books in corrugated book wrap or book boxes. We try to respond to orders the same day as we receive them or during the next business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 lb, or 0.5KG. If your book order is particularly heavy or oversized, we may contact you to request an additional payment to cover extra postage costs.
