About this Item

16 page pamphlet. Printed in blue ink. A monthly pamphlet with many items of theosophical interest. This issue contains a discussion of H.P.B. (H.P. Blavatsky) and succession, Dr. de Purucker on Theosophical Fraternization, Krishnamurti then and now-in which Krishnamurti apparently contradicts himself in regard to a discussion of the importance of Masters; 'Leadbeter Pounces on Krishnamurti,' Theosophy and Neo-Theosophy, etc. Henry Stokes, the editor of this journal worked for the Oriental Esoteric Library, starting O.E. Library Critic in 1911 to explore theosophy and theosophical teachings. Eventually Stokes became critical of Besant and Leadbeter in the Theosophical Society and sought to urge people to return to the original teachings of the group under Blavatsky's leadership (see Santucci H.N. Stokes and the O.E. . Library Critic). GOOD+ condition. Vertical crease present to the piece, with minor toning to the paper. Minor wrinkling along the extremities. Bookseller Inventory # 006735
