Half title, lxxxiii, 423pp., [iv ads]. Thick octavo, brown linen, gilt spine, blindstamped front cover with title and wreath, tope edge gilt, very light spotting on foredge, a sound, clean and excellent copy. First published in 1804, Obermann was a novel written in a series of letters by the French mystic de Senancour (1770-1846).
