About this title

A series of tall tales and stories adapted from the same stories Patrick Wilkins reported on during his acclaimed career as a TV anchor/journalist in Oregon. These stories take place throughout the Pacific Northwest -- Wilkins' beats. They are beautifully illustrated by Frank Tuning.

About the Author:

Patrick Wilkins is a retired Pacific Northwest TV journalist, and although he has been both a news director and anchor, he is perhaps best known for his many years on the road as feature reporter for the ABC affiliate station KATU ini Portland, Oregon. "Kinda like Charles Kuralt with a smaller territory." Among awards held by Patrick Wilkins are those bestowed by the Freedoms Foundation, Oregon Medical Association, and the Society of Professional Journalists/Sigma Delta Chi.

Wilkins and his wife, Gayle, currently reside in Salem, Oregon, where he tends to his passions for car restoration, flintknapping (arrowhead making), fishing and freelance writing.
