Red morocco spine label in second compartment with gilt-tooled title "Price on Liberty." Blind-rolled pattern on board edges. Folded plate is printed within engraved decorative border. Whitestone, [et al], 1777). xxiii, [1], 260, [4] p.: tables. Last 2 leaves blank. Signatures: A-L12. Howes P-583. Bookplate of the Earl of Annesley with the Annesley crest on front fixed endpaper. Price was a prominent British advocate of American independence and these works played an important role in the American Revolution. In Very Good Condition: rubbed, most heavily at corners and head of spine; joints tender. Both titles internally clean, crisp, and bright.
