This is the travelogue of a missionary (?), with an emphasis on the travel. These four volumes apparently were given away with a request for funds, which were to be used to finance publication of an English translation of "Ciudad de Dios," according to prefaces in a couple of the books and separate slip included with one. The travel narrative is very detailed and open-minded; travel hints follow each chapter. Vol. 1: Chicago to Manila; Vol 2: Singapore to Jaffa; Vol. 3: Jerusalem to Corfu; Vol. 4: Italy to Chicago - all with many stops. Green cloth with gilt lettering; paste-on label on Vol. 1; set is in very good condition. Price is set, including postage. Bookseller Inventory # 20167FM
