Sketches of Memphis Veterans Who Upheld Her Standard in the War, and of Other Confederate Worthies. [Memphis, TN: Press of S.C. Toof & Co., 1897]. 298pp. Portrait frontis., portraits. [with] MATHES, J. Harvey. The Old Guard in Gray. Part II, 1869-1899: Annals of the Confederate Historical Association of Memphis. Sketches of Members and Others Who Followed the Stars and Bars. [Memphis: 1899]. 148pp. Portrait frontis., portraits. Bound together as issued in later cloth. A very good copy. Enlarged edition.
