Rogell, and starring John Wayne, Martha Scott, Albert Dekker, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Marjorie Rambeau, Dale Evans, Grant Withers, and Sidney Blackmer. Staplebound, 8 1/2Ó x 14Ó. Near fine with a hint of use and some minor tearing to the rear cover. The film received two Oscar nominations - Best Music, Scoring of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture (Walter Scharf) and Best Sound, Recording (Daniel J. Bloomberg). The film tells the story of the rivalry between a cowboy (Wayne) and an oilman (Dekker) who compete for oil lease rights as well as the heart of a lovely young school teacher (Scott).
