Includes a color fold-out frontispiece, front matters (xxiv pp.), text (427 pp.) with XIV plates, and four pages of publisher ads. Multiple prior ownership markings on the end papers. With the exception of a few ownership stamps, the contents otherwise appear clean, complete, and securely bound. Brown cloth with blind-stamped border lines on the boards and faded copper spine lettering. Bumped and rubbed corner tips; erosion in the spine's head edge; rubbed spine tail edge; and modest surface rubbing from shelf wear. No ex-library markings.
