N.d., circa 1902. Probably the first edition, in larger format 7.5 by 5.25 inches, or 19 by 13.5 cm. Unpaginated, but 12 folded-over crepe leaves, including cover. Fairy tale of wizened old woman who falls down hole, like Alice, into a strange land is goes searching for her dumpling and is enslaved by a man-eating monster. The cover has some soiling and sunning. A few minor creases to the fabric within. Minor chips on cover edges. Overall leaves are clean and the color of the illustrations is quite fresh.
