Scottish-born actor, musician, and now author, David McCallum, is best known to the seasoned television viewer for his role as secret agent Illya Kuryakin on the acclaimed The Man from U.N.C.L.E. series and films, and to a younger audience as Dr. Donald ÔDuckieÕ Mallard on the hit CBS series NCIS. He also starred in the classic WWII P.O.W. film The Great Escape with Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, and Donald Pleasence. McCallum was nominated for one Golden Globe and two Primetime EmmyÕs for his work in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and another Primetime Emmy for a Lead Actor in a Single Performance in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie Teacher, Teacher (1969).
