About this title

Synopsis:

A fantasy story about the endearing little people of Maple Grove that combines humor with a love of scholarship. Sequel to "With Dandelions to Tell the Hours."

About the Author:

The author, aged over 21 Celsius, retired recently and, when given a few hints, is still able to distinguish between a nephron and a nictitating membrane. He divides his time among such diversions as light housekeeping (he does windows), consulting, reading, listening to classical music (Alfven to Zemlinsky), and delving into the grammatical and syntactical intricacies of Russian, New Testament Greek, and Cornish. It is rumored that he also courts the Muse of Scribes and Scribblers. We have not been able to verify this, although it is known that he purchases significant quantities of fine-point pens and ruled canary yellow pads at frequent intervals. Some skeptics are of the opinion that he does this simply to mislead the gullible into believing he is "writing something." We for one (how can that be?) are inclined to cite the old adage reminding us that "The proof of the penning is in the reading."
