Dwijendra Nath bzw. Book Description 1871, 1871. Pp. (iv), 70. Some light foxing in parts, and paper slightly browned throughout. Contemporary blind-stamped black cloth, title in gilt on upper cover, top of spine restored. Binder's ticket on front paste down (Calcutta Central Press Co). Old ownership inscription dated 1891. First edition of a scarce philosophical work by a renowned Bengali philosopher, poet and mathematician. The work is divided into three parts, dealing in turn with the knowledge of the true, the practice of the good, and the enjoyment of the beautiful.
