Franklin's as-always lavish binding, here for Welty's 1972 Pulitzer Prize-winning tale of southern family relationships. The Franklin Library, doing what they did best. Handsomely preserved. Please review scans. With the author's 1980 "A Special Message to Subscribers from Eudora Welty" (prefacing the novel) - at 7 pages one of the longer such messages in this limited edition series - and the scarce, separate original 22-page "Notes From the Editors", in pristine condition as well. A collector's example. Please review scans. L-franklin2. Bookseller Inventory # 001524
